Job summary

A specialized automotive laboratory is seeking a Sales Executive to drive business growth by identifying and acquiring clients, promoting a suite of testing services, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and possess at least 10 years of sales experience in automotive testing or lab services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Experience with environmental chambers and vibration shakers is highly preferred.

Black Pearl is recruiting a Sales Executive – Automotive R&D / Lab Testing Services to drive business growth for a specialized automotive laboratory offering Metrology, Mechanical Testing, Climatic/IP Testing, Vibration Testing, and Electrical & Electronics (E&E) services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and acquire clients including OEMs, Tier-1/2 suppliers, and R&D centers.
  • Promote a full suite of testing services (metrology, mechanical, climatic, vibration, E&E).
  • Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Achieve sales targets through structured pipeline and territory management.
  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and engineering/lab teams.
  • Guide clients in selecting appropriate test methods (ISO, ASTM, IEC, SAE, LV124/125, OEM specs).
  • Monitor project execution and ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Maintain strong technical and market knowledge to identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure feasibility and accuracy of proposals.
  • Provide feedback for market trends, competitor analysis, and service expansion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in automotive testing, lab services, metrology, or industrial engineering.
  • Strong technical understanding of testing standards (ISO, IEC, SAE, ASTM).
  • Experience with environmental chambers, vibration shakers, and E&E test systems is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • CRM proficiency and strong organizational skills.
