Job summary
A leading automotive service provider in Dubai is seeking a Tyre Technician to perform effective repair and maintenance of vehicles and tyre repair machines. Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a Diploma in Automotive Engineering. Responsibilities include managing job orders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role requires dedication to customer satisfaction and may involve working extra hours.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Tyre technician.
- Proficient in using specialized equipment for tyre repair.
Responsibilities
- Collect job orders and carry out all tyre related jobs.
- Service personal tools and equipment to comply with safety standards.
- Calibrate equipment periodically.
- Report delays in repairs to the Team Leader.
Education
To carry out effective and efficient repair and maintenance of customer vehicles and tyre repair machines following approved manufacturers repair techniques.
3 to 5 years of experience as a Tyre technician.
- Collect job orders and carry out all tyre related jobs using the specialized equipment.
- Service personal tools and equipment; keep work area clean and comply with health and safety standards.
- Calibrate equipment periodically to ensure accuracy of results.
- Periodically upgrade software and data in the alignment machine as new model vehicles arrive.
- Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and effective utilization of time allocated for repairs.
- Report to the Team Leader any delays in repairs due to unavailability of parts and equipment.
- Keep the used tyres/rims in the designated location and report to the Manager to dispose of them periodically as per company policy.
- Keep all personal tools safe; any breakages accidents must be reported to the Team Leader/Supervisor immediately.
- Ensure efficiency and productivity are maintained above 100%.
- Work extra hours if needed to complete the job and ensure customer satisfaction as per Team Leader’s requirement.
- Education: Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
- IT Industry Technical Institute (ITI) certified Auto Technician Course.
