Job Description
Support in managing and preparing:
- Group management reports for internal and external stakeholders, including executives, the Board, and shareholders.
- Group financial forecasts, budgets, business plans, and performance scorecards.
- Other ad-hoc management reports as needed.
Analyze financial performance reports, providing insights, key drivers, and recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement reporting requirements with the GL team, ensuring timely and accurate information capture.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data received from management accountants.
- Identify and explain significant variances.
- Assist in preparing and issuing management reports aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Deliver monthly flash reports, executive reports, and internal scorecards by specified deadlines.
- Provide commentary on financial performance, highlighting key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement reporting template changes and communicate these to relevant teams.
- Coordinate with procurement for ICV exercises and ensure scorecard metrics align with corporate standards.
- Conduct review meetings with functional heads to discuss performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and business planning, including timetable preparation, stakeholder coordination, and budget review.
- Participate in quarterly re-forecasting and ad-hoc forecast requests.
- Prepare monthly Devex reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in accounting/finance or related field.
- Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA) is an asset.
Experience
- 4-6 years in financial planning and reporting.
- Experience in group financial planning in large multinational companies is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, IFRS, and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, and auditing standards.
