The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys is looking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Officer. As a Health and Safety Officer at our educational institution, you will create, implement, and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for our students, staff, contractors, and visitors.
The candidate will report to the School Operations Manager and support the Operations Department by carrying out a range of assigned tasks related to Operation Health and Safety as needed, contributing to the efficiency and smooth functioning of daily operations.
This role may require occasional after-hours and weekend work for events and emergencies. Regular interaction with students, staff, parents, and outside contractors will be required.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Public Health, or related field.
Recognized NEBOSH certification
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in health and safety management, preferably within the educational sector.
Knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in conducting safety training programs, risk assessments and incident investigations.
Excellent communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
