Overview:
Vogue Middle East is seeking an organized, confident, and collaborative individual to support the Head of Editorial Content and local editorial team. This role encompasses a combination of administrative and creative responsibilities, both aiding and participating in the editorial process.
Candidates must have a passion for magazine journalism and excellent writing and communication skills. The role requires problem-solving, a proactive attitude and ability to easily multi-task. Supporting the Head of Editorial Content will often require this person to respond quickly and carefully to urgent requests. It is imperative that this person is flexible, responsive, efficient, and calm under pressure. Collaborating closely with senior editors, the editorial assistant will also write copy, research, manage the content calendar and offer editorial support across all areas of the brand.
This editorial assistant role will interact extensively with other Conde Nast employees and figures in the fashion and media industries. Professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail are paramount. The role features heavy administrative and operational responsibilities. Prior experience in office administration is a plus; a keen sense of organisation and attention to detail are both essential.
