Job description

Black & Grey HR is hiring an HSE Officer for a leading manufacturing company in Dubai UAE. This is a critical role requiring hands‑on experience in maintaining the highest standards of health safety and environment across our 24/7 shift operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and monitoring of HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks and implement corrective measures.
• Provide training sessions on HSE protocols, emergency response and risk management to employees across various departments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote a culture of health safety and environmental responsibility.
• Lead incident/accident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Conduct internal audits as per ISO 45001/14001 standards and support the management during external audits.
• Promote a strong culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement on site.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports and compliance documentation for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical).
• Certifications: NEBOSH International General Certificate (all 3 levels completed), IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent), Certified Firefighting training, ISO 45001 or 14001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an HSE Officer in a continuous process industry (Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals) operating on a 3‑shift system.
• Immediately available – Either on cancelled Visa/Visit visa.
• Previous work experience in the UAE, specifically in Dubai, is mandatory.
