JOB TITLE

Record to Report Senior Accountant | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Finance

Role Summary

This position is based in Majid Al Futtaim Ventures Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) and is responsible for all the transactional accounting operations of the entities, including the preparation of Financial Statements. The position will be responsible for the delivery of assigned General Ledger processes, journal entries, book closings, and variance reviews.

ROLE PROFILE

• Submit Financial Statement requirements for preparation.
• Post ledger entries during the period and submit the same for review by the Business Unit Finance.
• Perform accruals, maintain supporting statements, and workings for all accruals.
• Responsible for balancing assigned inter-company accounts effectively.
• Submit Financial Statements to external Auditors for Clearance.
• Manage Audit and Clearance for Standalone Financial Statements.
• Prepare Financial Statement Sign-off Package for internal sign-off.
• Responsible for managing assigned day-to-day operational activities of assigned books.

Requirements

• University Degree: Bachelor’s degree from a faculty of commerce or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Finance Accounting GL or auditing department.
• Preferred experience from Big 4 audit firms.
• Advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills - Fluent English.
• Able to deliver quality work under pressure.
