Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Dubai is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to assess creditworthiness, manage accounts receivable, and support the sales team. Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and regularly review customer credit limits.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Customer Care teams to follow up on overdue invoices within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debt collection activities.
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate settlements to ensure timely payments.
  • Ensure invoices are accurate, correctly coded (GL and VAT), and adjusted for revenue recognition where required.
  • Process and allocate receipts and payments accurately, reconciling accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including sales flash, MEP for HFM submission, and internal sales analyses for management.
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and 3-Year Plan (3YP) submissions.
  • Provide management with regular updates on customer account statuses and outstanding balances, and prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by the Sales Director.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Sales team and customers to ensure smooth credit management and prompt resolution of queries.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, VAT filing (output tax), and corporate tax requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date policies related to credit management, credit notes, and bank charges.
