Job Overview:

Our client seeks a motivated and detail-orientedSenior Accountantto join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7years of relevant accounting experience. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to internal stakeholders and regulators as required.
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members and help foster their professional growth.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and accruals in conformity with accounting standards.
  • Support audits by preparing required documents and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS/ GAAP).
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve financial controls.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA or ACCA qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 7years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS or GAAP).
