The Senior Finance Manager plays a strategic and hands-on role in leading the financial planning, performance analysis, and control processes across the beverage business unit. The role is critical in managing the full P&L, driving business decisions, optimizing cash flow, and partnering closely with commercial and supply chain teams to support profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full P&L Ownership & Financial Planning
- Lead the end-to-end financial planning process (Annual Budget, Forecasts, Rolling Estimates) for the full P&L down to Net Profit.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure robust revenue and cost forecasting with strong scenario planning capabilities.
- Provide insights on profitability by SKU, channel, and customer, recommending margin enhancement initiatives.
2. Business Partnering & Commercial Finance
- Act as a finance business partner to the Country Manager and Commercial teams, supporting top-line growth and investment decisions.
- Co-lead pricing, promotions, and trade investment evaluations ensuring ROI alignment.
- Drive market competitiveness through data-driven recommendations on portfolio, pricing, and cost-to-serve.
3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor and drive improvement in working capital metrics (DSO, DPO, inventory days).
- Partner with sales and AR teams to improve cash collection discipline and reduce overdue.
- Forecast and manage free cash flow, highlighting risks and opportunities.
4. Financial Control & Governance
- Ensure financial reporting integrity, compliance with IFRS and local regulatory standards.
- Own month-end closing accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with shared services or accounting team.
- Lead internal control enhancements and risk mitigation processes, ensuring audit readiness.
5. Performance Management & Reporting
- Drive financial performance tracking via dashboards and KPIs aligned with strategic priorities.
- Prepare and present monthly performance reviews to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, productivity gains, and process improvements.
6. Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members, promoting a high-performance culture.
- Support cross-functional capability building by educating non-finance teams on key financial principles.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA or CMA/CPA is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in FMCG Finance, preferably in the beverage sector.
- Strong exposure to Gulf markets (KSA, UAE, Kuwait, etc.) with understanding of trade structures and regulatory environment.
- Proven track record of managing full P&L responsibilities and commercial decision support.
