Job Title: Soil Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Soil Scientist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soil science, with a focus on conducting research, analyzing data, and making recommendations for sustainable land management practices. As a Soil Scientist, you will be responsible for researching and studying the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil in order to provide valuable insights and solutions for agricultural and environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys and collect soil samples for analysis
- Perform laboratory tests to determine soil composition and properties
- Analyze data from soil samples to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Develop and implement plans for sustainable land management practices based on research findings
- Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, and agricultural professionals on projects
- Communicate research findings through reports, presentations, and publications
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in soil science research and technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Soil Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in conducting soil research and analysis
- Strong knowledge of soil properties, chemistry, biology, and ecology
- Experience with laboratory testing equipment and techniques
