As a Room Technician at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers Hotel, you are responsible for carrying out daily bedroom and corridor maintenance to deliver an excellent guest and team member experience. A Room Technician will also be required to maintain stock levels and ensure rooms and corridors are in working order. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Internal
  • Ensure daily briefings are conducted with supervisors
  • Pass on problems to supervisors
• External
  • Ensure all communications to external departments or entities are conducted professionally and timely
• Main Duties:
  • Attend to maintenance requests (planned and breakdown) related to guest rooms
  • Complete work requests and PPMs as directed
  • Report and follow up on major and minor repairs and maintenance tasks for guest rooms
  • Select and follow up on correct materials from engineering stores
  • Suggest and implement alternative solutions for recurrent deficiencies or defects in coordination with the team leader and superiors
  • Keep work areas, storage areas, and areas near electrical panels clean and organized
  • Ensure electrical panels, storage areas, and access points to the roof are locked
  • Maintain safe working practices for yourself, colleagues, and contractors
  • Request support, guidance, and assistance as needed
  • Familiarize with and comply with all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures of the technical services department
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required by management
  • Assist public area technicians and other engineering technicians when required
