OB-GYN Ward Nurse: Maternity, Labor & Neonatal Care
Job summary
A healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide surgical and postpartum care to mothers and their newborns. The ideal candidate will monitor patient progress, conduct assessments, and assist in emergency situations. Responsibilities include educating patients on breastfeeding and newborn care, and providing health education to families. A strong knowledge of obstetric emergencies and the ability to lead a team are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification required.
- Experience in obstetric nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic fetal monitoring is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical and postnatal care to mothers and babies.
- Monitor and assess patients, including neonates and adults.
- Act as a Team Leader in the absence of Charge Nurse.
