Head of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and technically proficient Head of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity to lead and evolve our IT environment across both cloud and on-premise platforms. This senior leadership role owns the infrastructure and cybersecurity strategy, oversees budget planning (OPEX & CAPEX), and plays a key role in aligning IT operations with business growth and continuity. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this role requires deep expertise in Azure cloud services, enterprise IT security, and high-availability infrastructure management, while also mentoring internal teams and managing outsourced partners.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Design, deploy, and optimize hybrid IT infrastructure (cloud + on-prem).
- Manage and automate Azure cloud services and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Oversee enterprise systems including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, FTP, and server architecture.
- Lead the delivery of L1–L3 support across the organization.
- Administer Microsoft 365 suite – Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle, network resilience, and high-availability data center operations.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Own the cybersecurity strategy in alignment with global frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Lead SOC/SIEM monitoring, threat detection, and incident response operations.
- Conduct risk assessments, quarterly VAPT, and Cybersecurity Posture Management (CPM).
- Ensure compliance through internal and external IT/security audits.
- Develop and oversee Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) programs.
- Drive continuous security awareness and training across the organization.
People & Vendor Management
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing internal infrastructure and cybersecurity team.
- Manage outsourced IT vendors and enforce service level agreements (SLAs).
- Establish performance standards and track support metrics and uptime
Cross-functional Collaboration & Business Partnership
- Act as an internal consultant to business units for project-specific infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate closely with Platforms, Product, and Development teams to ensure aligned execution.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders on infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
Planning, Budgeting & Governance
- Own and manage IT infrastructure budgets (CAPEX & OPEX).
- Plan for capacity, upgrades, and future-proofing the IT landscape.
- Maintain documentation and governance standards for IT operations and security protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing Azure cloud environments and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Hands-on experience with SOC/SIEM tools, AD, and network monitoring systems.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, audits, and risk management. Certifications (Preferred)
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (LA)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
