Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Fresh Graduate Emirati National Only who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Abu Dhabi UAE.
- Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and confirmations.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procurement policies.
- Communicate with suppliers for basic inquiries such as quotations lead times and order confirmations.
- Support in maintaining up-to-date supplier records and databases.
- Maintain procurement records pricing databases and contract files.
- Assist in generating reports (e.g. spend analysis delivery performance).
- Ensure procurement activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Help with documentation required for audits and internal reviews.
- Support evaluation of supplier submissions under guidance.
- Liaise with internal teams like engineering finance and logistics to understand requirements and support procurement activities.
- Help track and follow up on internal approvals.
- Identify and suggest areas for improvement in procurement processes.
