Job Description

Job Summary:

The role will be for a Shipping Service company. Finance manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, planning, and strategy of the company while ensuring the company’s growth, profitability, and sustainability. This role will also focus on the alignment of financial and operational objectives to ensure efficient operations and cost-effectiveness in line with corporate goals. And will be closely work with other executive leaders, operational teams, and external stakeholders to implement and support business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an overall organizational finance strategy to ensure the financial well-being of the company
• Manage the regular preparation of financial statements and budgets, as well as business strategy and planning with a focus on supporting growth and scaling efforts
• Develop financial and Commercial KPIs across the company’s various functions, overseeing forecasts and actuals, and monitoring performance
• Operational oversight – may take on more operational responsibilities, supporting the CEO in managing internal efforts and coordinating with external operation. Cross-functional collaboration, working closely with other departments to align financial strategies with operational goals
• Manage banking relationships, company audit, and compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CA, CFA qualification is preferred
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in a senior financial management role
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and relevant industry laws
• Proven experience in business planning & financial analysis & cross-functional participation
• Ability to strategize and solve problems, strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication skill
