Job Description

Position Summary

The Junior Graphic Designer will support Ajman University’s creative team by producing visually engaging designs across print digital and social media platforms. Working under the guidance of senior designers the role involves creating high-quality materials that align with the university’s brand identity and contribute to student recruitment institutional branding and community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing digital and print assets including brochures social media graphics presentations infographics promotional videos and event collateral.
  • Ensure all creative outputs adhere to Ajman University’s branding guidelines color standards and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with marketing communications and recruitment teams to translate concepts into compelling visuals.
  • Prepare artwork for production including pre-press requirements for print vendors.
  • Support the development of creative campaigns for student recruitment rankings fundraising and special events.
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and support the team in developing innovative concepts.
  • Manage multiple design requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Assist with updating and organizing design assets templates and brand resources.
  • Stay updated with current design trends tools and technologies relevant to higher education marketing.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design Visual Communication or a related field.
Experience
  • 0–2 years of relevant design experience (internship or freelance work will be considered).
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign After Effects or Premiere preferred).
  • Knowledge of digital design for web and social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics animation or video editing is a plus.
