The Jobsite Support Engineer plays a key role in supporting Bekaert’s construction projects across the Middle East. The role focuses on providing on-site technical assistance, ensuring proper fiber usage and installation, and supporting customers and contractors with product application, testing, and performance verification.

• Provide on-site technical support during project execution for fiber‑reinforced concrete applications.
• Supervise and guide contractors during mixing, pouring, and finishing of concrete containing steel fibers.
• Conduct training sessions and demonstrations for customers, ready‑mix plants, and applicators.
• Monitor jobsite performance, collect and report technical data, and prepare detailed site reports.
• Support the sales team with pre‑and post‑sales technical advice and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with Bekaert quality and safety standards at all project sites.
• Assist in trial mixes, slab‑on‑grade testing, and technical evaluations.
• Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to continuously improve field performance feedback.
• Maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and ready‑mix suppliers.
• Assist contractor/consultants with site trials as per Eurocode EN‑14561 and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Arrange technical seminars for tunnelling / infrastructure consultants to increase SFRC knowledge in the region.
• Strong technical and problem‑solving skills.

• Organized, detail‑oriented, and safety‑conscious.
• Ability to work independently under dynamic site conditions.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Civil, Materials, or Construction Technology engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of site experience in concrete works, construction supervision, or technical support.
• Strong understanding of concrete technology and reinforcement methods.
• Strong network within the region with contractors / consultants / concrete suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with hands‑on field experience.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Middle East region.
• Valid driving license.
