JOB PURPOSE:
Develop, plan, and coordinate the implementation of OE Division initiatives and projects in close collaboration with implementation section staff, OE Departments, Sites, HQ support groups, and external parties. Monitor their execution within the agreed time, cost, technical, quality, and HSE standards to achieve business objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Implementation framework
- Support the establishment and execution of OEX initiatives alignment and implementation frameworks and processes.
Scope definition
- Support feasibility studies, develop the basis of design, brief scope of work, preliminary documentation, and budget estimates for operations excellence initiatives/projects to assist management decision-making.
- Participate, coordinate, and assist in developing detailed statements of requirements (SOR) and strategies for project phases.
- Coordinate with external consultants and evaluate bids to select the most suitable services.
- Develop tender documents and assist in contractor/consultant selection processes.
Compliance to standards
- Ensure documentation conformance to specifications and standards, recommending changes as needed.
Projects monitoring and control
- Coordinate project progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare progress reports for management.
Projects roll out/Commissioning
- Coordinate deployment of projects, manage completion punch lists, and monitor execution against plans.
- Review and verify payment invoices against work performed.
Implementation review/lessons learnt
- Review issues during implementation, coordinate remedial actions, and promote process improvements.
Budget preparation and monitoring
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, analyze variances, and identify performance improvements.
Supervision
- Plan and supervise activities, train staff, and develop their skills.
Budgets
- Contribute to budget preparation, assist in implementation, and highlight variances.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Implement policies and procedures, ensure compliance with legislation.
Performance Management
- Contribute to achieving departmental performance objectives.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Develop tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
HSE and Sustainability
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and sustainability standards.
Reports
- Provide inputs for MIS and progress reports.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal and external contacts include team members, departments, vendors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering with project management certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in Oil and Gas, with project management and technical duties.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle, standards, codes, and inspection methods.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
