Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Dubai is looking for a competent Electrical Engineer to manage electrical design review, site execution, and coordination on HVAC projects. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-7 years of experience in electro-mechanical projects. Key responsibilities include supervising installation, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and conducting testing. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and familiarity with UAE authority approvals is preferred. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications

We are seeking a competent Electrical Engineer with experience in electro-mechanical and HVAC projects to manage electrical design review, site execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning activities. The role requires close collaboration with mechanical, plumbing, firefighting, and civil teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required quality standards.
Design Review & Documentation
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for HVAC and MEP projects
Prepare material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements
Site Execution & Supervision
Supervise installation of LV systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and ELV systems
Coordinate electrical works with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and civil teams
Monitor site progress, contractor performance, and quality control
Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and local authority regulations
Manage UAE authority approvals where applicable (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, etc.)
Conduct testing, commissioning, and system handover
Stakeholder Coordination
Attend site meetings with consultants and clients
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support
Commercial & Planning Support
Support project planning, estimation, and value engineering activities
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
3–7 years of experience in HVAC / Electro-Mechanical / MEP projects
Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, ELV coordination, and site execution
Experience with UAE authority approvals (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, etc.) preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of electrical design software is an advantage
