The Senior IT Project Manager : is responsible for leading and managing complex IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role involves working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to align projects with business objectives, manage risks, and ensure the successful implementation of IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Manage project execution, tracking progress, and ensuring milestones are met.
• Coordinate and oversee IT infrastructure, software development, and digital transformation projects. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Engage with business units, government entities, and external vendors to align project goals.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring contracts, SLAs, and deliverables are met.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to senior management. Risk, Budget, & Compliance Management
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or failures.
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
• Ensure projects comply with government regulations, cybersecurity standards, and IT governance. Agile & IT Governance Implementation
• Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies to manage project workflows.
• Enforce IT governance frameworks, aligning projects with ISO 27001, ITIL, and UAE government standards.
• Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or ServiceNow. Monitoring & Reporting
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
• Generate reports for executive leadership on project status, challenges, and recommendations.
• Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and improve future project execution. Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project management with a strong focus on enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects in government or enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, ERP systems, cybersecurity, and IT service management (ITSM).
• Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CSM, or Agile certifications.

• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and UAE government IT regulations
