Job summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to drive the successful execution of multiple IT projects for our client. This role involves managing complex projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring all project objectives are met. You will be pivotal in maintaining client relationships and ensuring high standards of project delivery.

This is a one‑year contract opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Project Manage team of internal and contract resources to ensure successful delivery of Data Centre and IT and Telecommunication infrastructure in a newly built property.
  • Proven experience overseeing scheduling, budgets, and staff / vendor resourcing.
  • Strong status tracking and reporting experience with tracking of detailed tasks performed by team members ensuring quality of installation and other deliverables.
  • Act as liaison between Infrastructure team, construction and design teams.
  • Know and understand installation of fibre optic cable networks, data centre infrastructure, Wi Fi and other aspects of infrastructure implementation in a property.
  • Understand and follow processes and procedures for working on a construction site.
  • Track and manage completion sign offs, ensuring design, labelling, configuration and other standards are followed and implemented.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing telecommunications and IT infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and financial control
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Highly organised with proven experience in a similar project role
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, Microsoft Project
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management role within data centre or telecommunications environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering
  • PRINCE2 or PMP certification (highly regarded)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Experience in digital infrastructure or construction environments (essential)
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Ras Al Khaimah at minimum 3 days per week
