Job summary
A leading bakery in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to create high-quality pastries and desserts. This role involves hands-on production, menu development, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years in a similar role, a passion for baking, and strong teamwork skills. Qualifications
- Experience as a Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Cook in a bakery or café for 3–6 years.
- Strong hands-on experience in pastries, desserts, and plated items.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of pastries and desserts according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in compliance with regulations.
- Contribute to new product development and seasonal menu planning.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for ingredients.
- Support and guide junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants.
