Sr. Project Manager - Ship Repair

Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Contract Details : Full-time

Our client, a leading ship repair company in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee ship repair projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably within the shipbuilding or ship repair industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee all aspects of ship repair projects, from planning to execution.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within the agreed timeline and budget.
• Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues during the project.
• Manage project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Communicate project updates and progress to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct project evaluations and recommend improvements.
• Mentor and guide project team members for their professional development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ship repair project management.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven success in managing complex ship repair projects.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the shipbuilding industry.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
• PMP certification is a plus.
