Construction Project Engineer jobs in United Arab Emirates

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer Oil and Gas to support the planning, coordination, and execution of oil and gas projects in the UAE. The role ensures that project milestones are met safely, efficiently, and within budget while aligning with industry and regulatory standards.

1. Plan, monitor, and coordinate all phases of oil and gas projects from initiation to completion.
2. Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, and construction.
4. Ensure technical documentation, drawings, and specifications are accurate and up to date.
5. Track project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders and management.
6. Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC standards.
7. Address site issues and resolve technical challenges in a timely manner.
8. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
9. Support risk assessments, method statements, and project control processes.
10. Ensure adherence to local and international standards such as ADNOC, API, ASME, or ISO.

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
2. 4-6 years of proven experience in oil and gas project execution (onshore/offshore).
3. Solid understanding of EPC project workflows and industry best practices.
4. Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
5. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO).
6. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
7. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
8. UAE or GCC oil and gas experience highly preferred.
9. Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to site locations.
