Job summary
A leading transportation firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Fulltime Driver. You will be responsible for safely transporting staff and products, maintaining the company vehicle, and ensuring timely travel while navigating traffic. Candidates must hold a valid UAE driving license. This role offers stability and a structured work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid UAE driving license.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport company staff and products to specified locations.
- Assist with loading and offloading staff luggage.
- Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion.
- Inform company of any tickets issued against the vehicle.
- Ensure vehicle is parked in permitted areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Conduct routine inspections on the vehicle.
- Identify and repair minor vehicle issues.
- Evaluate climate and traffic reports for optimal travel routes.
- Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage products and materials.
- Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
- Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
- Ensure that the car is clean at all times by washing both its inside and outside parts.
- Carry out routine inspection on the car to ensure that it is always in good condition.
- Identify electrical and mechanical problems that may hinder smooth working of the car and carry out minor repairs and maintenance where necessary.
- Consider different routes check climate and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take.
