Job description

We are seeking a skilledMechanical Engineerto join our construction project team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site experience, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise installation of all mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting).
  • Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and standards.
  • Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
  • Monitor daily progress and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.
  • Conduct quality inspections and submit IRs for consultant approval.
  • Resolve technical issues and raise RFIs for design clarifications.
  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to avoid clashes.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all site activities follow HSE policies and safe work practices.
  • Prepare daily reports, maintain site documentation, and assist with as-built drawings.
  • Participate in handover activities and close snag items.
Skills
  • Experience with high-rise buildings / industrial projects (optional).
  • Knowledge of BIM coordination (preferred).
  • Valid local engineering or site work certifications (if applicable).
