Carpenter vacancy in Sharjah UAE


Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have excellent carpentry skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work independently. We are willing to consider both experienced and inexperienced candidates.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Measure and cut materials accurately, according to specifications
• Assemble furniture and other wooden items using glue, nails, screws and other tools
• Use power drills, saws and grinders to cut shapes in wood
• Install hardware, such as hinges and handles on cabinets or furniture
• Install wooden structures such as walls, floors and ceilings
• Repair furniture pieces or fixtures when necessary
• Perform regular maintenance of tools and equipment used for the job
• Adhere to safety standards when working with wood or other materials

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a related field will be an advantage
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans
• Solid understanding of wood properties & characteristics
• Proficient use of carpentry tools & equipment (e.g. saws, planes etc.)
• Familiarity with safety procedures
