QA/QC Inspector - Electrical
Job summary
A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking a qualified QA/QC Inspector Electrical to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards for electrical installations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in MEP projects, strong technical skills, and familiarity with local authority regulations. Responsibilities include inspecting electrical systems, reviewing work against approved documentation, and reporting quality issues. This role also requires proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical QA/QC in MEP or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems.
- Review and verify electrical work against approved drawings.
- Raise inspection requests and coordinate with contractors.

We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Inspector Electrical to ensure that all electrical installations on-site comply with project specifications applicable codes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail strong technical knowledge and previous experience in MEP projects.
- Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems such as LV panels cable routing containment wiring DBs lighting power systems earthing and grounding.
- Review and verify electrical work against approved shop drawings and technical submittals.
- Raise inspection requests (IRs) and coordinate with consultants and main contractors for joint inspections.
- Identify non-conformities (NCRs) suggest corrective actions and verify rectification.
- Review and maintain ITPs method statements checklists and QA/QC documentation.
- Conduct material inspections to ensure compliance with approved samples and specifications.
- Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with safety quality and authority standards.
- Assist in pre-commissioning testing and final handover processes.
- Ensure documentation is prepared for authority inspections (DEWA ADDC SEWA etc.).
- Report daily activities and quality issues to the QA/QC Engineer or Manager.
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 58 years of experience in electrical QA/QC in MEP or construction projects (UAE/GCC preferred).
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (DEWA ADDC etc.) and international standards (IEC IEEE BS).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings layouts and single-line diagrams.
- Strong communication inspection reporting and documentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office AutoCAD (basic) and familiar with QA/QC software tools.
