As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design work of projects and work predominantly under a particular project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, BEDD, etc.
2. Prepare civil / structural design calculations complying with Design Basis Memorandum (DBM) and the International Standards.
3. Create hand-drawn sketches for Designers / Draftsmen to prepare drawings.
4. Check drawings prepared by Draftsmen / Designers.
5. Calculate quantities and prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) / Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
6. Prepare bar-bending schedules, structural steel shop drawings.
7. Prepare purchase requisitions, material requisitions, and conduct technical bid evaluations.
8. Refer to project specifications applicable for the project engineering work.
9. Coordinate with drawings and documents from other disciplines as applicable.
10. Ensure QHSE requirements are fulfilled in design calculations and drawings.
11. Visit sites as required to resolve engineering problems on-site.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in civil engineering from a reputable college or university.
2. Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in design related to oil and gas, infrastructure, or building industries.
3. Must be in good health, physically fit, and active.
4. Possess good analytical, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
5. Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), AutoCAD, and other design/engineering software.
6. Knowledge of civil engineering software such as STAAD, MAT3D, etc.
7. Positive attitude, highly motivated, dynamic, and hardworking.
8. Flexible and capable of working under pressure to meet project demands.
