We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Site Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean site working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. You will handle multiple tasks, resolve site issues, and demonstrate strong site management and communication skills with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure all site operations, safety, and legal requirements are met.
- Perform daily quality control and assurance tasks.
- Maintain site inspections and documentation according to project management plans, safety, and quality standards.
- Review civil and building services design documents for alignment before issuance to subcontractors.
- Approve method statements and risk assessments submitted by subcontractors.
- Supervise site activities, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance to subcontractors on field and construction activities.
- Demonstrate leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Facilitate resolution of construction issues with O / E.
- Monitor scope and assist in preparing change documents, analyzing impacts.
- Coordinate with project team members to ensure progress aligns with scope and schedule.
- Monitor project schedule, coordinate activities, and resolve problems.
- Ensure project execution complies with specifications and schedule, reporting deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Review design, specifications, and scope changes, recommending actions.
- Study project plans, calculate time requirements, and sequence activities.
- Prepare status reports, analyze trends, and recommend actions.
- Conduct meetings, reviews, and assist in contractual communications.
- Review material submittals and shop drawings for compliance before approval.
- Attend progress meetings and prepare minutes.
- Conduct site meetings to review construction methods and expedite progress.
- Assist with out-of-scope tasks and change order preparations.
- Support design and schedule estimates for change orders.
- Monitor drafting progress, assess variations, RFIs, and payment claims.
- Participate in safety, design, technical, and risk meetings.
- Implement corrective measures as needed.
- Manage drawings and as-built documentation.

Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as Civil Project Engineer in primary substations.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of Transco specifications and UAE standards.
- Familiarity with local rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office suite.
- Experience with Transco Substations & DRPC projects is preferred.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
