Auto Mechanic – Sharjah, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with automotive repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical problems on all makes and models of cars and light trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues by using electronic testing systems, as well as other diagnostic tools.
- Repair vehicle components including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, exhaust systems etc.
- Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations etc.
- Provide estimates for repair costs and timeframes to customers.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance services performed on customer vehicles.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology to ensure quality service is provided.
- Follow safety procedures when working with hazardous materials and chemicals such as motor oil or brake fluid.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in automotive technology preferred.
- ASE Certification preferred but not required.
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic; at least 5 years in the field required.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication skills
