POSITION TITLE: Junior Civil 3D Technician

BUSINESS UNIT: Civil Infrastructure

BRANCH / LOCATION: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

REPORTS TO: Production Manager/ Project(s) Leader, Senior Technician

SUPERVISES: Not Applicable

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English, Science

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS: Not Applicable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production of CAD drawings from concept through scheme to detail stages of design under supervision of senior technicians.
• Develop 2D and 3D design models using Civil 3D software.
• Provide support to engineers.
• Maintain organized project files, documentation, and drawings, ensuring version control and proper documentation practices.
• File drawings in conjunction with the document controller if required.
• Ensure compliance with project/RBG Drafting manual and company standards.
• Ensure all duties are performed to an acceptable/high standard.
• Create and maintain a team environment within the drafting team aligned to RBG values.
