Job summary

A premier interior design firm in Dubai is seeking a part-time Interior Designer intern to assist with mood boards, space planning, and layouts. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's in Interior Designing and possesses a strong creative eye along with proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp. This role offers an internship duration of 3 to 6 months with a pay range of AED 1,500 to AED 2,000 per month.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's in Interior Designing.
• Interior designer with experience in luxury residential design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUp keys to success.

Responsibilities

• Create mood boards and concept ideas.
• Assist with space planning and layout suggestions.
• Work on basic floor plans, drawings, and 3D models.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Creating mood boards + concept ideas (Pinterest energy required)
• Helping with space planning and layout suggestions
• Assisting in material + colour selection (tiles, paint, fabric, finishes)
• Working on basic floor plans, drawings and 3D models/renders (AutoCAD, Sketchup)
• Research furniture, lighting, and decor options online & offline
• Supporting site visits and measurements if required
• Coordinating with vendors/suppliers for product details and pricing

We’re Looking For

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's in Interior Designing
• Passionate about trends, design and interior concepts
• A sharp creative eye + attention to detail
• Proficient with design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, Photoshop etc)
• Team player but also independent when needed
• Able to work from the office 3–4 or 4-5 days/week
• Internship duration 3 to 6 months
