Job Description: Serve as the central point of contact for all matters related to 3D model activities produced by the Engineering department, ensuring coordination and integration across all projects. Ensure the quality of the 3D model by issuing or revising procedures and job notes outlining how model is to be constructed by all disciplines and carrying out regular audits across all projects to ensure compliance. Ensure clash checks are done periodically, and clashes are resolved in a timely manner. Apply change management and implementation of latest vendor input in the model throughout the project phase. Provide independent reporting on the progress of the model from all disciplines.

• All model operating manuals and procedures
• Update and produce model setup and review procedures to ensure model quality and consistency
• Produce Job Notes for all disciplines to ensure correct attribute population and correct model build
• Model set up and operation
• In control of catalogue and specification update for all disciplines, including customization of supports and special components
• Ensure standard hierarchy set up for all projects
• Take lead for clash checking activities and produce reports for PEM’s / EM’s
• Track and organize vendor data updating and produce status reports for PEM’s / EM’s
• Participate in internal 3D model reviews and model reviews with clients as required
• Keep abreast of new technology
• Propose cost saving ideas or quality improvement ideas to management
• Keep up to date with latest industry innovations and advances in software to advise management of new developments which could be incorporated to improve productivity
• Suggest department improvements to existing work practices related to the model
• Develop subroutines/macros for simplifying operations and duplication/repetitive applications
• Issue KPI’s for measuring performance and indicating areas where improvement is required

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant Engineering field such Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Architecture, Electrical, Construction or equivalent
• Synchro / 3D Max Training/ Certification is desirable
• Minimum 12 years’ experience of relevant experience in Energy sector or similar industry
• Extensive experience with SP3D, PDMS, E3D & PDS
