Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join their team for an ADNOC Onshore project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering for oil & gas infrastructure and must be proficient in MAT3D and FOUNDATION software. Responsibilities include leading structural analysis and design, developing design deliverables, and ensuring design integrity through coordination with various engineering disciplines. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in structural engineering, 5 years in oil & gas.
• Strong experience with ADNOC or GCC-based oil & gas projects.
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng PE or equivalent) is advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team for an ADNOC Onshore project during the FEED and Detailed Design phases. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in structural engineering for oil & gas infrastructure including substation buildings pipe racks equipment foundations and other industrial facilities. Proficiency in MAT3D and FOUNDATION software is essential.

JOB RESONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and perform structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures in compliance with ADNOC standards international codes (ACI AISC BS Eurocodes) and project specifications.
• Develop and review design deliverables such as calculations design reports material take-offs (MTOs) GA & detail drawings and technical specifications.
• Perform structural modeling and analysis using MAT3D and FOUNDATION software ensuring optimization of design and cost-efficiency.
• Provide input to geotechnical and civil interfaces including foundation loads grading and earthwork requirements.
• Coordinate closely with civil piping mechanical and electrical disciplines to ensure design integrity and interface consistency.
• Participate in model reviews HAZID/HAZOP workshops and constructability assessments.
• Prepare and respond to technical queries (TQ) vendor documents and client comments.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering documents in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Support site teams during construction and respond to RFIs site queries and as-built documentation reviews.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
• 10 years of experience in structural engineering with minimum 5 years in oil & gas sector.
• Strong experience working on ADNOC or other GCC-based oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design phases for onshore industrial projects.
• Proficient in MAT3D and Bentley FOUNDATION software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Navisworks and 3D model navigation tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards and work processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng PE or equivalent) is advantageous.
• HSE certification (IOSH NEBOSH) is a plus.
