A leading aged care provider in Upington is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services to clients within residential care facilities. This part-time role requires conducting assessments, creating tailored therapy interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance residents' quality of life. The role of the Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to clients within Amana Living’s residential care facilities. They assess the therapeutic needs of the residents, plan person centered interventions that aid the resident to maintain or improve their functional performance and deliver and evaluate these therapeutic interventions. This position is based at our St George Care Centre in Bayswater.
This role is offered on a permanent part time basis working 2 days a week, 30.40 hours per fortnight.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in program development and the delivery of evidence based occupational therapy interventions within the Aged Care or Services sector. You will be able to show Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a complex environment, characterized by competing demands and tight timelines.
