Job summary

A rapidly growing IT services company in Pretoria is seeking a Product Manager – Sales & Channel Management to drive revenue growth and expand partner networks across Africa. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in channel development and a proven track record of building successful channel businesses. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. This role offers a basic salary of R10,000 per month with additional commission opportunities.

Smart Hands Africa is looking for a Product Manager – Sales & Channel Management to join our dynamic team!

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our partner ecosystem across Africa. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strategic relationships, managing sales pipelines, and collaborating with partners to achieve mutual success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth and recruit new channel partners
  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans with partners
  • Align partner goals with product and service offerings
  • Lead joint marketing, business planning, and partner activities (QBRs, enablement sessions, and events)
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts
  • Achieve sales targets through effective collaboration and engagement
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in dynamic channel development or partner management
  • Proven track record of building successful channel businesses
  • Strong partner relationship, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Business-minded, structured, and able to thrive in fast-growing environments
  • A relevant degree will be advantageous
Salary & Benefits

💰 Basic Salary: R10,000 per month

  • 45% on new deals
  • 25% on renewals/ongoing business
