An international organization for animal welfare is seeking a Brand and Design Coordinator in Cape Town. The role involves managing design projects, supporting brand consistency, and overseeing the IFAW Shop operations. Candidates should have experience in graphic design and project management, with proficiency in Adobe tools. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 341,000 to 420,000 ZAR annually, promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
We’re looking for a Brand and Design Coordinator who can help keep IFAW’s visual storytelling consistent, impactful, and easy for teams around the world to use. This role supports the full lifecycle of design projects—from intake and prioritisation to production, review, and delivery. As a member of the Content team, you’ll work closely with our Director of Content Marketing, our agency partners, and freelancers, as well as colleagues across IFAW.
You’ll help ensure that every visual we produce, digital or print, feels unmistakably IFAW. That means supporting others with the tools they need, reinforcing brand standards, and stepping in with hands‑on design skills when quick edits or exports are needed.
This role is also responsible for managing the IFAW Shop, coordinating directly with our merchandise vendor and the internal shop stakeholders to keep products, processes, and the shop website running smoothly.
At IFAW, we aim to create and foster a workforce that reflects and contributes to the diverse, global community in which we work to improve the lives of both animals and people. We are dedicated to fostering justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion so we actively encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds.
