Job summary

A global logistics company located in Germiston, Gauteng is seeking a maintenance support worker to assist mechanics and ensure well-maintained vehicles and trailers. The ideal candidate should possess a Matric certificate and have experience in workshop duties. Responsibilities include support to mechanics, tool safekeeping, and maintaining clean facilities. Transport is required for daily duties.

Job Function

To provide assistance to mechanic and semi-skilled mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment according to Planned Preventative Maintenance Procedures and provide operations with safe, reliable and well-maintained equipment and to Comply to customers standards and service level agreements.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate (grade 12).

Skills and Experience

• Must have experience in workshop duties.
• Must be willing to assist technicians on breakdowns on the road.
• Must have own transport.
• Must be able to read and write.
