A major appliances manufacturer based in Durban is seeking a Specialist - Imports Planning. The successful candidate will coordinate with suppliers, ensure compliance with customs regulations, manage shipping costs, and analyze import data. They will work collaboratively across departments, requiring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. The role demands a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management and relevant experience in logistics or import planning. Join a team focused on optimizing processes and improving performance metrics.
Qualifications
- 4 - 6 years of experience in import planning, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs compliance requirements.
- Proficient in supply chain management software.
Responsabilités
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order quantities and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all import documentation complies with customs regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
