Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Coordination
- Scheduleand coordinate daily dispatches for outgoing deliveries.
- Prepareaccurate dispatch documentation, including delivery notes and packingslips.
- Ensureall goods are correctly picked, packed, and ready for delivery.
Driver & Route Management
- Briefdrivers on delivery routes, customer requirements, and safety protocols.
- Trackand follow up on deliveries to ensure completion and address any delays.
- Communicatewith logistics partners and internal teams regarding scheduling ordelivery updates.
Warehouse & Stock Support
- Assistwith inventory checks, stock counts, and loading/unloading activities.
- Reportany discrepancies or damages identified during dispatch.
- Supportgeneral warehouse operations as needed during off-peak dispatch times.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintainaccurate dispatch records and update delivery statuses.
- Ensurecompliance with internal dispatch procedures and safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric(Grade 12) minimum.
- Certificateor diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum2 years’ experience in a dispatch or warehouse coordination role.
- Experiencein a technical product environment or the solar/electrical industry isbeneficial.
Skills
- Strongorganizational and time-management skills.
- Excellentcommunication skills with attention to detail.
- Familiaritywith delivery documentation and dispatch workflows.
- Abilityto work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
