A forward-thinking organisation is undergoing a multi-year systems modernisation programme transforming legacy platforms into a fully distributed SaaS architecture. Theyre looking for a high-impact QA Engineer to take ownership of testing, establish best-in-class QA processes, and ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality software.

Define & Build

• Develop the testing framework, protocols, and documentation standards for modern SaaS and distributed architectures.

• Translate product visions into comprehensive test strategies and acceptance criteria.

Collaborate & Influence

• Partner with Product Owners, Developers, BAs, and the BAU team to embed quality from concept to release.

• Influence how the organisation views and manages software quality.

️ Test & Deliver

• Execute manual and automated tests across multiple systems, ensuring full test coverage.

• Use MS DevOps for test management, defect tracking, reporting and metrics.

• Participate fully in Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retros, reviews).

Report & Improve

• Provide detailed reporting on test progress, defect status, and quality metrics.

• Drive continuous improvement in test automation, performance, load, and integration testing.

5+ years' experience in system integration and end-to-end software testing
Experience testing distributed and SaaS-based systems
Comfortable balancing manual and automated testing
Fluent with MS DevOps, Agile/Scrum processes, and defect management
Experience with web, mobile, and API testing
CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks: highly desirable
ISTQB Advanced Level certification (or equivalent)
Strong communicator who works proactively across multiple teams
