Accountant Position

Hire Resolves client in the Audit and Advisory space is looking for an Accountant to join their team based in Cape Town.

1. Supervising a monthly accounting department including preparation and review of monthly management accounts, timely submission of statutory returns, and assisting clients with accounting and software support.
2. Preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements using IFRS for SMEs.
3. Dealing with clients and correspondence.
4. Managing and training junior staff and SAIPA trainees.

1. Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles or similar experience.
2. Company and individual tax knowledge essential.
3. Previous experience in a similar environment.
4. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Very high attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
7. Own transport (including valid SA driver's licence).

1. Pastel Partner and Sage One experience.
2. Experience with Xero advantageous.
3. Caseware knowledge.
4. Highly computer literate in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
