Job summary
A leading technology services firm in Roodepoort is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to manage ERP and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Information Technology and 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably in the mining or asset-intensive environment. This role requires hands-on experience with ERP platforms like SAP and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in IT systems administration / ERP / reporting systems.
- Experience in the mining industry or heavy industrial environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT risk management and compliance frameworks.

- Oversee and optimise the Company’s ERP system for efficiency and accuracy.
- Enhance reporting systems for timely insights to management.
- Identify and monitor IT risks for compliance.

Knowledge of IT risk management and compliance frameworks
Reporting and analytics such as Power BI, SQL
Proactive, problem-solving mindset
Operation of ERP and reporting systems, driving system improvements, and assisting in managing IT risk across the business
- Oversee and optimise the Company’s ERP system, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and alignment with business needs
- Ensure integration of SAP B1 and optimize ERP modules for finance, supply chain and operations
- Assist in enhancing reporting systems, delivering accurate and timely insights to management
- Work closely with finance, operations and other departments to identify opportunities for system improvements
- Continuous improvement projects, including automation and system integration
- Identify, flag and monitor IT risks to ensure compliance with governance, security and audit
- Provide user support, training and act as a key link between end-users, IT teams and vendors
- System champion for all relevant systems in the organisation
- Assist the consultant with technical matters and submissions of support for internal and external audits
- New IT methods, techniques and procedures introduced are managed
- Ensure all SLA’s relating to IT are in place
