Job summary
A leading e-commerce company in Johannesburg is seeking a qualified individual to assist with daily operations and customer service. The ideal candidate should have a Degree in E-commerce, Online Marketing, or a related field and be proficient in Google Workspace. Responsibilities include supporting foundational e-commerce processes, managing digital merchandising activities, and collaborating with the online team to enhance the efficiency and performance of e-commerce platforms. Qualifications
- A Degree or qualification in E-commerce, Online Marketing, Business, or related field.
- South African citizen based in Johannesburg.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Google Workspace.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations of the e-commerce platform.
- Provide customer service and assist with order tracking.
- Support digital merchandising activities including product listings.
Skills
Education
- A Degree/National Diploma/Higher Certificate/NQF Level 5 in E-commerce, Online Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field
- South African citizen based in Johannesburg
- Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Google Workspace
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify (advantageous)
- Interest in online retail operations and understanding of the commercial importance of e-commerce
- Assist with daily operations
- Provide customer service support and assist with order tracking and follow-ups
- Learn and support foundational e-commerce processes, transitioning into more advanced responsibilities over time
- Support digital merchandising activities, including new product listings, listing enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
- Use e-store check tools and take action on identified improvement areas
- Collaborate with the online team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Contribute to the growth, efficiency, and overall performance of both e-commerce platforms
