A distribution planning company in South Africa is looking for a Primary Distribution Planner. The role involves positioning stock effectively, developing distribution plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics. Strong analytical capabilities, a relevant degree, and experience in logistics are essential. Proficiency in tools like Power BI will be advantageous. This position offers an opportunity to significantly impact supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Chemical/Mechanical) or BCom Supply Chain Management.
- Advantageous experience in logistics, distribution planning, or working with transport carriers.
Responsabilités
- Ensure stock is positioned correctly and develop weekly distribution plans.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders for seamless stock movement.
- Track and report on key KPIs to improve performance.
