Join Our Finance Team at Pace Auto Group!

We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Controller to support our Finance Manager in delivering accurate financial reporting, robust reconciliations, and full compliance with group and legal requirements. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and solid experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Accuracy
2. Perform and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure complete and accurate records.

1. Accounts Receivable & Bad Debt Management
2. Reconcile AR balances and maintain accurate aging reports.
3. Assist in assessing and recording bad debt provisions in line with policy.
4. Resolve intercompany mismatches within the group.

1. VAT & Tax Compliance
2. Assist with VAT calculations and timely SARS submissions.
3. Support income tax and PAYE reporting, ensuring full legal compliance.
4. Assist with audit queries and required documentation.

4. Internal Controls & Compliance

Contribute to the implementation, testing, and monitoring of internal controls and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Completed or in-progress SAIPA articles (preferred).
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and reconciliations.

Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Analytical, deadline-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
