Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Supplier Management – Identify Needs: determine the organization's purchasing requirements, often by collaborating with internal departments.
  • Market Research – Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, innovative products, and industry trends to make informed buying decisions.
  • Supplier Evaluation and Selection – Research, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, capacity, and financial stability.
  • Negotiation and Contracting – Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers; draft, review, and manage purchase contracts and service agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Relationship Building – Cultivate and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and foster mutual collaboration.
  • Order Processing and Logistics – Create, issue, and manage accurate purchase orders detailing specifications, quantities, and terms; track orders to ensure timely arrival and resolve delays; coordinate logistics and delivery of goods with inventory teams.
  • Compliance – Ensure all procurement activities adhere to ethical standards, legal regulations, and internal company policies.
