A leading engineering firm in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to ensure optimal operation of automated machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC programming skills and a background in diagnostics and industrial systems. You will be responsible for maintaining production systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role offers a great opportunity for growth and hands-on experience.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience as an Automation Technician or in a similar industrial setting.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming and fault finding.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, electrical diagrams, and mechanical schematics.
Responsabilités
- Install, test, and maintain automated machinery and PLC systems.
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic components.
- Monitor performance and implement preventative maintenance plans.
